Getting started

- Pick any folder you are happy for Kempt to change.
- Choose how to organize: by type, extension, or date.
- Review with preview when you want an extra check, then run Organize.
- Use Undo if you need to step back—your last moves stay traceable.
In-app help walks through every feature — open Kempt Help from the app menu when you are inside Kempt.
Privacy and trust
Kempt only touches folders you choose.
Your file contents stay on your Mac for normal organisation — no account required for core features, and no uploading your files to organise them. Optional Kempt Pro is sold through the Mac App Store; Apple handles payment and restoration, not a separate Wrume login.
Requires macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later. Runs on Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.
